The Americana kitchen style of course focuses on the colors of red, white, and blue. However, you do still want it to be different from everyone else’s red, white, and blue kitchens. There are a lot of different design directions that you can take this in and it could even have Tuscan kitchen touches.

Since this kind of style is very evocative of the country kind of feeling then you’ll probably want to go with a painted cupboard. If you want it more of a subtle effect then you could just try painting your cabinets a weathered blue color and then really placing things on top of it. Another option would be to go with more of a classic white cabinet if you like to change out your theme a lot. You can even make red cabinet doors work as long as you go with a deep red. It should have a lot of brown in it so it mimics a mahogany. This is a way to get a rich wood tone without all the of expensive wood.

You can also find different ways to really bring in the theme. For more of a subtle effect you could just hang a large rusty star on the wall. In fact any kind of rusty items always seem very country and feeling. You can even find Christmas ornaments of this type that you could affix to different decorative accessories in your room.

You can also create this kind of style in a space that you already have. For instance you could just layer a lot of red, white, and blue kitchen towels on top of each other and then kind of tie them together if they are all the same size so every single one of them gets noticed. This is an easy way to add accessories in all white kitchen, which is perfect if you live in an apartment and can’t make any big kind of changes.
